The transformation

Built in the order the building needs

Structure before surfaces, weather protection before finishes. Step through the five stages — it is the same sequence we scope on a real project.

The house as it stands

Tired roof, weather-worn siding, systems at the end of their service life. Every project starts with an honest read of what is actually here — structure, moisture, and materials.

Materials we build with

Chosen for salt air, not showrooms

Four material families carry most of the load on a coastal home — each one specified for what salt air, wind, and humidity do to the cheaper alternative.

Architectural shingles

A laminated, dimensional profile with high wind-uplift ratings — chosen because storms, not birthdays, retire shore roofs.

Fiber-cement siding

Holds its line in the salt air and humidity that swell wood and chalk vinyl — and holds paint through seasons of driven rain.

Quartz & white oak

A non-porous worktop that shrugs off humidity and spills, over oak cabinetry that warms a kitchen built for daily use.

Composite decking

Boards that don't rot, cup, or ask for yearly sealing — barefoot-safe through salt spray, standing water, and summer heat.

Built for the shore

Coastal conditions change the specification

Wind uplift ends roofs early. Salt air eats fasteners and flashing. Humidity punishes bathrooms and basements. South Jersey work that ignores those three facts is inland work with a shore address — ours is specified for where it stands.

Wind

Wind-rated roofing materials, coastal fastening schedules, and deck structures detailed for uplift — because storms, not birthdays, retire shore roofs.

Salt

Stainless or properly coated hardware, flashing treated as a system, and materials chosen for salt-air exposure rather than showroom appearance.

Moisture

Waterproofing before tile, drainage before finishing, ventilation sized to the room. The hidden systems decide how long the visible ones last.

Interiors

The finish is only as honest as what is behind it.

Fireplaces, kitchens, and living spaces built on structure, moisture control, and materials chosen for the shore — not for a showroom.

How we work

Assessment, written scope, build, walkthrough

Assessment

We read the actual condition on site before anyone talks finishes or figures.

Written scope

What is included, what is not, and what could change the price — named before you sign.

Build

Structure first, weather protection second, finishes last. Hidden conditions are shown and priced, never buried.

Walkthrough

We walk the finished work together and close the punch list before final payment is due.

Common questions

Asked before most estimates

What areas do you serve?

We are based at 114 Offshore Road in Egg Harbor Township and serve South Jersey, including Galloway, Absecon, Somers Point, Northfield, Linwood, Mays Landing, Atlantic City, Ocean City, and Brigantine. If your town is nearby and not listed, ask — the list is the core area, not a hard border.

How does getting an estimate work?

Send the request form or call (609) 289-6115. We talk through the project, arrange an on-site assessment where the scope needs one, and provide a written scope that names what is included, what is not, and what hidden conditions could change the price.

What should I check before hiring any contractor in New Jersey?

Verify the firm's NJ Home Improvement Contractor registration, ask for a current insurance certificate, and get a written contract with a milestone-based payment schedule. Our guide walks through each check — and we expect to be checked the same way.

My home was built before 1978. Does that change my project?

It changes the planning. Lead paint may be present, and renovation needs testing, containment, and lead-safe work practices built into the scope from the start. Our older-homes page and guide explain what to ask any contractor — including us — before work begins.
