Where We Work: The Jersey Shore & South Jersey
Offshore Construction LLC is based in Egg Harbor Township and works across the Jersey Shore and South Jersey, up to Camden and Cherry Hill. Central Jersey is considered for larger projects. The territory is not just a map — the permit office, the flood exposure, and the housing stock change by town, and each area page below says how, in terms checked against the town's own published rules.

Building in Camden →The rules change by town — that is the point
New Jersey construction runs on one state code, the Uniform Construction Code, but it is enforced town by town: Egg Harbor Township through its Division of Inspections, Atlantic City through its Division of Construction, Ocean City with a zoning-first sequence, Cherry Hill with zoning approval before permits issue, and Camden with its own occupancy certificates on top. Add flood zones, coastal permits, and historic districts, and the same deck or kitchen can have three different paper trails in three towns. Our homeowner guides explain the shared framework: which projects need a permit in New Jersey, deck permits, renovating in a flood zone, CAFRA, and zoning variances — then each area page above applies it locally.
Not sure whether your town is in range? Call (609) 289-6115 and ask — the answer is a straight yes or no based on the project, not a sales pitch.
